Welcome to Procrastinate Zero, the ultimate system to improve your personal effectiveness. Over the past three years, I’ve taught this system to over 800 students. People from all walks of life. CEOs, entrepreneurs, artists, teachers, writers, you name it.
People who, just like you, want to improve their effectiveness. While most professionals might be efficient, the effective ones are the most successful. Peter Drucker, the famous management theorist, explained the difference:
“Efficiency is doing things right; effectiveness is doing the right things.”
When you consistently do the right things, you get more and better results. Personal effectiveness is at the core of:
This course shows you the path to personal effectiveness.
Everyone learns differently. Walter Burke Barbe, a scientist who researched the ways people learn, found three channels for learning:
His research showed that 30% of the participants relied on their visual strength to learn. And that 25% used their kinesthetic channel to learn. I’ve researched this concept profoundly. I’ve found that many misquote this research. It’s not true that some people are only visual learners. Barbe’s research shows that people are often more developed at one area.
I mention this because I don’t want you to put yourself in a box. “I’m a visual learner!” Really? Why? How do you know this? Too often, we draw quick conclusions that are based on what others think or say.
Learning is a complicated skill. There’s no one size fits all. You can do all the scientific research in the world, sometimes we learn in weird ways.
One of the Procrastinate Zero students recently told me that he always hated time blocking. At least, that’s what he thought. Even when he read my article on time blocking, he didn’t think it was useful. And when he enrolled for this course and got to the time blocking video lesson, he thought “not again!” But he remembered my lesson about not making assumptions, so he gave the lesson a chance. He didn’t judge and watched the video. You probably know where I’m going with this.
He’s the biggest time blocking supporter now! He’s been using it for three months and loves it. You see? Sometimes, you need to learn a particular topic in a particular way.
Have you ever read something which connected dots in your brain? “Now I get it!” Do you know that feeling? Well, someone else can read that same thing and just get on with their life. Nothing clicks. No reaction. Nothing! It happens all the time.
See Procrastinate Zero as a buffet. You can pick any flavor you like.
I’ve used all channels for all lessons. You can learn this course through video, audio, the written word, and even exercises.
