Frequently Asked Questions

 1. “Who is Effective Writing for?”

Effective Writing is for people who rely on their words for their career success. We have teachers, entrepreneurs, investors, copywriters, UX writers, marketers, account executives, content writers, retirees, client support agents, and so forth inside the course. People who communicate in the written word every day.

If you don't think writing is that important, it's not for you. If you think the course is too expensive, it's not for you.

2. "How does the coaching plan work?"

The coaching plan includes 4 coaching calls of 60 minutes each. Plus, you'll have messaging access to me.

My coaching method is focused on your goals, and creating an action plan for getting closer to them. We kick things off with a deep dive so we can formulate your goals, how we measure them, and what your obstacles are.

After that, we'll create a plan to overcome the obstacles. Coaching works best if you already have goals in mind. That way, we can achieve the most results. With a clear goal in mind, you can expect at least a 10X return on your investment.

The coaching option is for entrepreneurs, professional writers, and people who want to increase their income with writing. In all honesty, if you're currently not generating a stable income from your writing, I don't recommend this option. Get your business/career off the ground first, and then take it to the next level with support.

3. “My English is not great. Can I still take this course?”

Absolutely. This is NOT an English language course. This is about writing strategy. And you can apply these strategies to any language. The principles I show you are based on psychology, persuasion, and human nature.

Also, this course is not for members of the grammar police. This is for people who want to be effective writers, not obedient writers.

4. “I don’t have time. How long does it take to finish the course?”

The total course, including exercises and reading material, takes around 7-8 hours. Some students finish the course in two days. But some digest the course over 3 months.

5. “I don’t have ideas to write about.”

That’s okay. In Effective Writing, I will show you a strategy that helps with coming up with new ideas—every day. Look, writing is not about talent or inspiration. It’s a craft and we can learn it.

6. “Is this training tax deductible? Or will my employer reimburse me for the registration fee?"

If you're self-employed, you can deduct the costs of online training if it's for your business. More info here.

When you sign up, you get a purchase receipt for accounting purposes. But if you need a custom invoice, simply let me know and we'll create one for you with your company details.

If you’re employed, please check if your employer has a training budget. If so, most companies reimburse online courses too. And if not, you can always ask them. Here's an article from Investopedia with tips.

7. "How is this course different from other writing courses in the market?"

I've collected more than 1500 surveys to decide on the content of this course. I take this seriously. And I use a scientific approach in creating my material.

I've studied for six years in college, getting two degrees. I have a Master's degree in Business Administration. This is what I do.

I've been giving training and workshops for almost ten years. And my articles have been read by millions of people.

I believe in what I do. That's why I offer a 100% money-back guarantee and lifetime access to my material.

8. "How do I know if I'm ready?"

You've read and watched my free material. You know the basics of writing. You have the pieces. You're only missing a complete system that puts everything in place. If that's you, you're ready.

If you haven't studied my free material yet, you're not. My goal is to make my free material better than the paid material of others. So please study it, and if you're ready, enroll for the full course so you can make things happen faster.

9. "What if I'm just lazy and unmotivated?"

Aren't we all? I'm not kidding. Without a system in place, I would fall back to eating potato chips, playing video games, and watching Netflix.

There's no such thing as laziness or a lack of motivation. There's only a lack of clarity. And when you don't know what to do, you do nothing.

I will teach you how you can overcome laziness with a writing system that never fails.

Also, the flexible enrollment option is a payment plan (not how long the course takes).

10. "Do I get access to the entire course at once?"

Yes, as soon as you join, you get instant access to the entire program. You also don't have to wait for new material to be dripped out. It will all be yours when you join.

It's self-paced because I'm not a police officer. I'm not here to chase you to complete your assignments.

Some courses don't give you access at once. But I don't believe in that strategy. We're adults. Instead, I teach people to plan their own life, take charge, and full ownership.

You can also sign up for the course and start whenever you want.

11. "What level of support can I expect?"

You have direct access to me and my team. You'll also receive an invite to my private community, where you can get feedback on your work from one of my team members, or find accountability partners among your fellow students.

And you can ask me anything you want—I'm more than happy to help you with the material. It's my goal to help my students succeed. And I know many of my students personally.

12. "What does Lifetime Access mean?"

I regularly add new lessons, exercises, and tools to Effective Writing. When you register for the course, you will get free access to those in the future. I never charge my students extra.

It also means you have the flexibility to start whenever you want with Effective Writing. I'm hosting live Q&A sessions throughout all of 2021, so you can hop on a live call whenever you're ready.

13. "Why does the registration close on a set date?"

That has nothing to do with the content of this course. Effective Writing is self-paced. You get access to all the content at once.

Here's why there's still a deadline: One of my productivity strategies is that I only focus on 1 thing at a time. I truly live by that strategy.

When I open my courses, I give 100% of my attention to creating new course material and I support my students, especially during the first two weeks after the deadline (that's when the most questions come in).

That's why I don't offer this course all year round. I just wouldn't be able to give this level of support. Also, a clear deadline helps me and my students to get clarity. Otherwise, we keep on procrastinating.

14. "Does the Flexible Payments mean I only have access to the course for 6 months?"

The Flexible Payments is only a payment plan. The course is exactly the same as the Standard Plan. The Flexible Payment only gives you financial flexibility. The monthly payments stop after six months and you get to keep everything you've bought.

15. "Can I get a certificate upon completion?"

Yes, we create personalized certificates when you complete the course. Some employers ask for those.

The challenges Effective Writing helps you to overcome:

Below, you’ll find the top challenges that my students had before they started this course. I’ve learned about these challenges through interviews and surveys. You will find their challenges below (in their own words).

I address every one of these challenges in the course. So if you face the same hurdles, this course will help.

“I want to start an online business, but I can’t write.” When you want to start a blog or website, you have to write content that converts. You want to write in a credible way that makes your readers/buyers trust you.

“My challenge is paralysis by analysis. Too much research, too much finding the right tools, methods - not enough action.” You do too much research and you lack execution. You want to write more.

“I’m a freelancer. My challenge is getting the word out to potential clients.” You want to get exposure but don’t know how to write in a persuasive way.

“My blog is not growing. Also how to write a blog with high frequency.” You already have a blog but you’re not seeing growth. You want a writing system that helps you to write every day.

“I don’t have ideas to write about.” Every time you sit down to write, you hit a wall. You have no clue what to write. You want to learn how high-frequency writers consistently write new content.

"Trouble narrowing down an idea/niche. Not sure of what type of business/product I'd like to produce. Want to work for myself but unsure of how to monetize "me" or my thoughts.” You have challenges with thinking clearly. You have many ideas, you want to get clarity.

"I don't know how to write something that can attract others for a long time.” You find it hard to grab and keep your reader’s attention. You want people to respond more to your writing.

"I work in Technical Support and I spend most of my day replying to clients' emails. Sometimes their issues are critical and need to be worded very carefully and sometimes they have technical problems that need to be explained in simple terms to a non-technical person." You want to think and write clearly so you can do your job better and faster.

"I want to start journaling so I can improve my thinking skills. But I'm stuck!" You believe in the power of writing every day, but you get stuck every time you start. You want to write more.
